All systems OK (after SNAFU)

Launches at 4000m and launcher survive.

Members of the CAOS team undertook a four day mission to Popocatepetl where they configured the UAS for adaptive sampling and mapping missions of the Popocatepetl plume. The flight window is typically between 630am and 11am, after which clouds move in often from different directions creating convergence zones. The beautiful snow-capped mountain that gurgles all day becomes unpassable. We showed on this trip that we have the capability to begin autonomous mapping experiments...coming soon to a website near you!

Come fly the friendly plumes with us!
